A fast and efficient construction programme was implemented to ensure the development of 259 student studio apartments was available for Birmingham University’s latest intake.
C.J. Furey was involved from start to finish on this project which involved working within a severely restricted site area with an adjoining live fire station that needed to remain fully operational throughout.
A fast and efficient construction programme was implemented to ensure the development of 259 student studio apartments was available for Birmingham University’s latest intake.
Works included cut and fill bulk excavation, piled concrete foundations, installation of block and beam concrete floors – including structural topping, all drainage pipework and service duct work to and from the building, external hard landscaping and Section 278 Works.
The project completed ahead of schedule and exceeded client satisfaction.
